• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
• Floating: Required
• Charge Nurse Capability: Highly preferred
• Patient Population: Newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric

Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Some pediatric experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Up-to-date resume, skills checklist, driver’s license, and NURSYS verification
• Strong adaptability, communication skills, and confidence in a high-acuity healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and support patients presenting with stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support timely patient care
• Use emergency equipment such as rapid infusers and temperature management systems as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
• Float as needed to support unit operations and patient flow
• Respond calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
