- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
- Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,550 - $2,690
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 40 hours per week
- Call Requirements: Rotational weekday, weekend, and holiday call
- Start Date: September 28, 2026
- Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
- Location: Rockford, Illinois
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience required
- Strong circulating experience in orthopedic, neuro, and podiatry cases preferred
- Current AHA certifications required; RQI not accepted
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts and participate in rotating call coverage
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills
- Previous travel nursing or healthcare experience in a surgical setting is a plus
Responsibilities
- Circulate in the Operating Room for a variety of surgical procedures
- Support orthopedic, neurological, and podiatry surgeries with a strong focus on patient safety
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized surgical workflow throughout each case
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members
- Provide high-quality nursing care while following facility protocols and OR best practices
- Participate in rotational call coverage, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
