• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,100 - $2,210

• Patient Population: Newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Additional Details: Floating required; charge nurse capability highly preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in New York
• At least 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience
• Previous travel RN experience required
• Some pediatric emergency care experience preferred
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications; TNCC must be in hand
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
• Up-to-date resume including relevant travel nursing and ED experience
• Requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and treat patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to patients across all age groups
• Support safe and efficient patient flow in a 64-bed Emergency Department
• Use specialty equipment such as rapid infusion devices and Arctic Sun systems as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Step into charge responsibilities when needed and maintain strong team communication
• Document accurately and maintain charting standards within EPIC
• Adapt quickly to a dynamic ER environment while delivering reliable, high-acuity nursing care
