• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130-$2,250
• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Start Date: 9/28/2026
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; holiday rotation; no self-scheduling; floating to like units within competency may be required
• Setting: 32-bed Med/Surg Telemetry Unit

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience required
• 2 years of specialty experience preferred for auto-offer
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• New York State RN license required or ability to obtain before start
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Comfort working with Cerner or similar EMR systems
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and float as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with pulmonary and respiratory needs, including pneumonia and COPD
• Manage IV therapy, infusions, drips, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and starting IVs
• Support patients using tele remote monitoring, trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, and oxygen weaning
• Assist with transports and support ICU transfers when needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, efficient patient care
• Float to similar units within scope and competency as assigned
