Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Wound care experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care or hospital environment
• Comfortable with floating to other units as needed
• Experience documenting in MEDHOST is a plus
• Strong communication, assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Deliver wound care and support patient recovery plans as needed
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
• Maintain patient safety and help support a positive care environment
• Adapt to floating assignments and contribute to unit operations
