  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: Approximately 3 shifts per week
  • Orientation: 8 hours of orientation; mandatory attendance required
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
  • Active Indiana RN license
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • NRP certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts consistently
  • Experience with EPIC charting and Pyxis medication systems preferred
  • Willingness to float to age-appropriate Pediatric or PICU areas as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU
  • Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs
  • Administer medications and document care accurately in EPIC
  • Support safe and effective care for a 31-bed unit with a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
  • Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
  • Adapt to float assignments in appropriate pediatric critical care areas when needed
