• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirement: 12 weekend shifts required per contract
• Holiday Requirement: Must work Thanksgiving and New Year's Day, or Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
• Charting System: Cerner preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2 years of Emergency Department or relevant acute care nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
• Strong clinical skills in emergency assessment, triage, and rapid decision-making
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department environment
• Comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric and adult populations

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Support stabilization and treatment for a wide range of emergency diagnoses and trauma cases
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, and manage emergency interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate timely patient care
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly during handoffs and transitions of care
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse age groups in a dynamic emergency nursing setting
