Position: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
Location: Westerville, OH 43081
Region: Columbus area, Ohio
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred
Labor & Delivery or obstetrics experience in a hospital setting preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Completion of standard onboarding, health, and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in condition
Assist with labor support, delivery preparation, and immediate newborn care
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care team members to support positive outcomes
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
Educate and reassure patients and families throughout the birthing process
