- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Setting: Acute care Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Bed Size: 31 beds
- Float Expectations: May float to age-appropriate Pediatric/PICU areas
- Charting System: EPIC
- Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- Dress Code: Caribbean blue scrubs
Job Requirements
- Current Indiana RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience
- BLS certification from AHA
- NRP certification
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal patient care
- Ability to work 36 hours per week on night shift
- Willingness to complete all required orientation days
- Flexibility to float to age-appropriate Pediatric/PICU units when needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to NICU patients in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Monitor neonatal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
- Document patient care thoroughly in the EPIC charting system
- Maintain safe medication practices using Pyxis medication administration systems
- Support families with compassionate communication and education
- Adapt to unit needs, including floating to appropriate pediatric care areas when assigned
