Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• Current WV RN license or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required through AHA
• Telemetry nursing experience required, including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with heparin protocols preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and float to similar telemetry units as needed
• Strong teamwork skills and comfort caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
• Must live within 100 miles of the facility; candidates within 75-100 miles may be considered case-by-case
• All required documentation must be submitted at time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with unit protocols
• Support care for patients with pulmonary, cardiac, medicine, and Med/Surg needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Manage telemetry equipment and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias
• Float to similar telemetry units when needed within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate documentation and support a smooth night shift workflow
