Travel MICU Registered Nurse Job in Philadelphia, PA 19107 – Night Shift ICU Assignment

• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19107
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float to ICU, Intermediate, and Telemetry units
• Charting System: Epic
• Contract Type: Travel RN

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BSN required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 2+ years of MICU experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong critical care nursing skills in managing ventilated patients, vasoactive drips, and complex ICU therapies
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity, team-oriented hospital environment
• First-time travelers welcome

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric MICU patients with severe and complex diagnoses
• Monitor and manage patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, ARDS, multiorgan dysfunction, renal failure, liver failure, GI bleeds, oncology conditions, and post-cardiac arrest needs
• Support advanced ICU interventions including CVVHD, Swan-Ganz monitoring, rapid infusion, blood products, and ventilator management
• Assist with bedside procedures such as trach and PEG care, CVC placement, bronchoscopy, and mass transfusion protocols
• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, social services, and rapid response teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold safe, evidence-based critical care practices
• Adapt to floating assignments within ICU, intermediate care, and telemetry as needed
