• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts; alternating 36/48 schedule, with the option to consider straight 48s
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: 12 weekend shifts required per contract
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Charting System: Cerner preferred
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820-$1,910

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of emergency nursing experience required
• Experience in a Level II Trauma environment required
• Travel nurse experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Flu vaccination required; exemptions or declinations may be allowed per policy

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients across the lifespan in the emergency room
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform emergency interventions and support care for trauma, medical, behavioral health, and pediatric cases
• Administer medications, start IVs, and monitor patients throughout treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver timely, effective care
• Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth patient flow in a busy ER setting
• Respond appropriately to rapidly changing patient conditions and high-acuity situations
• Follow facility protocols, safety standards, and infection prevention practices
