• Duration: 13-week contract
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $710-$750
• Holiday Requirement: One major winter holiday, one major summer holiday, one fall/winter hallmark holiday, and one spring hallmark holiday

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of critical care and acute care nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey required
• Experience with CRRT required
• Experience with EVD required
• Experience with Swan-Ganz monitoring required
• Ability to float to like units as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills in a high-acuity ICU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition with urgency and accuracy
• Manage specialized critical care equipment and therapies, including CRRT, EVD, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with facility standards
• Float to comparable units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care during weekend night coverage
