• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: Float within the organization as needed
• Call Requirement: May be required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience caring for adult cardiac stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or mixed-acuity patients preferred
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Ability to provide 2 professional references, including at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor
• Flexibility to complete urgent credentialing and fingerprinting requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients with a range of medical and post-surgical diagnoses
• Monitor telemetry and respond quickly to changes in cardiac rhythm or patient condition
• Administer medications and manage complex IV therapies, including cardiac drips and insulin protocols as appropriate
• Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, arterial lines, PICC/central lines, and wound care
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and other clinical support services
• Float to other units within the organization when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
• Participate in a team-oriented environment focused on quality patient outcomes and responsive care
