• End Date: January 18, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Scheduling: Block scheduling not accommodated
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Charting System: EPIC
• Setting: 16-bed Surgical ICU with an average daily census of 14

Job Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of SICU, ICU, or comparable critical care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Experience with trauma, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, and complex post-operative patients preferred
• Comfort with mechanical ventilation, CRRT, invasive lines, and advanced ICU monitoring preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
• RTO must be submitted at time of application

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in the SICU
• Monitor and manage patients with complex surgical and trauma-related diagnoses
• Care for patients with neurosurgical, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, transplant, and trauma needs
• Assist with advanced ICU procedures including chest tube care, central line management, arterial line management, and CRRT
• Manage ventilated patients, tracheostomy care, vasoactive drips, and sedation protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, IV teams, and other support services
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC
• Float as needed based on unit needs
• Support a safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care environment
