• Floating: May float to ortho trauma and inpatient rehab as needed

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg or telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Preceptor experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong team-player mindset

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care for telemetry patients in a surgical setting
• Monitor cardiac and clinical status, identify changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient flow in a busy acute care environment
• Assist with ambulation, wound care as needed, and routine bedside nursing tasks
• Collaborate with RNs, LVNs, and patient care technicians to maintain excellent team communication
• Provide care while maintaining a patient ratio of approximately 1:6
• Contribute to a positive, supportive unit culture where teammates help one another when the shift gets busy
