Join a high-acuity critical care team as an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) on an 8-week travel nursing contract in Boston, Massachusetts. Care for complex adult patients in a Medical ICU and critical care float pool while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals. Travel Nursing Job Details

• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse
• Setting: Medical ICU / Critical Care Float Pool
• Location: Boston, Massachusetts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Schedule: 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks
• Start Date: February 1, 2027
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call hours
• Orientation: Weekly, typically on Mondays

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent, related ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Level I trauma experience required
• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills in a high-acuity environment
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Medical ICU
• Monitor complex patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and promptly escalate concerns
• Administer medications and treatments safely while managing advanced monitoring and critical care interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support continuity of care during shift transitions
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and evidence-based critical care practices
