Travel Nursing Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Start Date: January 4, 2027
• End Date: February 27, 2027
• Duration: 8-week travel nursing contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours every two weeks, excluding on-call hours
• Work Arrangement: On-site
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays, except holidays

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent ICU or related critical care nursing experience
• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association
• Comfort working in a Medical ICU and floating to other critical care areas as needed
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
• Availability to submit all requested time-off preferences with the application; no more than three days of requested time off can be accommodated, and holiday time off is not approved

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a Medical ICU setting
• Complete detailed assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Monitor hemodynamic status, respiratory function, neurological condition, and other critical indicators
• Administer medications and therapies safely while responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with intensivists, providers, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Float to designated critical care units and adapt quickly to changing patient populations and acuity levels
• Support emergency interventions, procedures, and evidence-based practices that promote patient safety
• Accurately document care and communicate clinical updates during handoff and throughout the patient stay
