Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.

Required Education:
-A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

Preferred Education:
-Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Current NYS RN License.
-BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-Professional certification in a related nursing specialty.
-Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.

12 nights, 36/week, every other weekend Required certs: BLS, ACLS Unit Notes: Med/surg/neuro/cardiac tele: Strokes, TBI, Craniotomies/cranioplasties, back surgeries, VP/LP shunts, seizures. Occasionally: syncope, hyper/hypotension & vascular surgeries. Required experience: experience in telemetry patients and cardiac medications. Also able to read rhythm strips. Stroke experience and managing post stoke patients Common Equipment: Bard IV pumps, GE cardiac monitor, EPCD, sit-to-stand tool, Hoyer, transfer boards, seizure pads.
