Yes, if they have experience in a large Level 3+ facility and are comfortable in a fast-paced environmentWill you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, as long as they have experience in a large Level 3+ facility with broad experiencePatient Types:Day shift:General, diagnostic, interventional, assisting with procedures, ER, critical casesEve/Night shift:90% are ER and ICU patientsCardiac CT experience preferredManager does not want someone who has just critical access experiencePatients seen in a day:Over 100 patients seen in 24 hoursRequired Licensure and Certifications:BLS, ARRT CT R, WA state licenseSkills required:Experience with case types aboveMust have acute care experienceSupport on the Unit:Lead CT TechRespiratory TherapyHospitalistRadiologist: IR MD and PA will help with cases in CT; Radiologist there during the day, off site at nightRRT:Transporter: CT transporter available except from 4am-9amUp to 5 CT tech during business hours. After 5pm, 3 CT TechsTechnology/Equipment:EMR: EPICIV pumps: Alaris (will typically not alter)Medication dispensing: Pyxis; Cardiac CTs will give nitro prior to cardiac casesInjector: MedRadPACS: Change HealthcareEquipment used? Do travelers need experience with equipment?:Siemens, Dual Source CT 128 Flash, Definition 64 (interventional CT), Definition Edge 128 in ERDo not need prior experienceFloating: If yes, where?Typically will not float anywhereOrientation:NEO1 week in department, could be more if neededScheduling:Weekend rotation: Fixed schedule, see job postings for details. Some positions will be for every weekendOn call:1-2 call shifts per monthStrictly night shift travelers will also take call as all night shifts are 12h shifts and they will have 4 days off per weekCall is 7p-7aHoliday Expectations: Every otherApproval of RTO: To go through managerShift times:8, 10, and 12h shifts.
