Chesapeake Regional Healthcare is located in the beautiful Coastal Virginia region, just minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Chesapeake is an outdoor lover s paradise, offering hiking trails for all experience levels and more than 20 waterways to explore. Assignment Details Cath Lab RNSchedule: 5x8 and 4x10s varying shift times between 7a-7p, rotating weekday, weekend & holiday call (Approximately 10-14 days a month)Can be assigned in other CV departments: Electrophysiology, Cath or Cath HoldingPerform minimally invasive cardiac procedures in a full-service cardiovascular program, including electrophysiology services. Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required!! Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experienceCritical Care (ICU), Cardiac Care (CC), or Emergency Department (ED) experience requiredEPIC proficiency is required (no exceptions)Current BLS and ACLS certificationsActive Virginia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission (no exceptions) Chesapeake will not consider candidates with any license or background hits. Will cancel if failed, must have 80% or higher to pass The test is inclusive of interval measurements, complex identification, and rhythm identification. If traveler is unable to obtain an 80% rate, they will not be allowed to continue with orientation or their contract, so please take time to review this information prior to start date. They do not offer study materials. The tele test consists of 16 questions. The first 10 questions will ask you to determine regular vs. irregular, rate, PRI, QRS, and rhythm interpretation. The last 6 questions are interpretation only. The test covers sinus rhythms, heart blocks, lethal rhythms, atrial rhythms, junctional rhythms, and pacing. Rhythm interpretation is worth 3-4 points and the measurements are worth 1 point.
