Description
Job Summary (List Format): - Work in a 16-bed free-standing emergency department (ED) with 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services - No trauma designation; facility is licensed under CMC Main - Average 87 ED visits per day, performing approximately 60 imaging studies daily (DX & CT) - Serve ED patients and limited outpatients (no outpatient imaging currently) - Dual-modality role: Perform both CT and general X-ray exams, including portable X-rays - Support from 24/7 on-site Ultrasound Technologist - Use EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, Philips iSite PACS, Siemens Edge CT scanner, Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors, Shimadzu RadSpeed and portable X-ray machines - No floating to other departments - Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding and up to 1 week of department-specific training - 12-hour shifts with required weekend rotation; no on-call duties - Must work 75% of holidays; RTO subject to approval - Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted - Required certifications: ARRT in Radiologic Technology (with advanced registry in CT) and BLS - Must live at least 50 miles from facility (radius rule) - Scrub color: Black; Free surface lot parking available
