No Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: LDRP GYN surgical Patient Ratios: RN: AWHONN Guidelines Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: RN: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Surg Tech: BLS required, national certification (CST) is preferred but not required Skills required: RN: Experience with the all aspects of LDRP patient care, circulating c-sections, experience with newborn care to include heel sticks, 24 hr testing, NAS scoring, lactation support Must have the skillset to work LDRP Surg Tech: examples: Decontamination/Sterilization experience, sterile technique, comfortable providing assistance with vaginal and cesarean delivery Support within the Department: CNA 1 per shift Receptionist/HUC patient registration, visitor mgmt. and unit secretary duties Charge nurse Case Manager RT 24/7 Hospitalist or OB Physician, 24/7 OB Physicians 2 OB practices Pediatrician Lactation Consultants No remote Tele Monitoring Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Phillips GE Corometrics Fetal Monitors; GE Panda Warmer Floating: Within region and scope of practice Will be required to float per region needs will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice DECLINE if not agreeable Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children s Hospital) If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) Orientation (facility and unit) : NEO 2 days departmental Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other No call Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours Shift times: 7p-7a Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks Other notes: Scrub Color: navy blue scrubs or business casual to/from work; hospital issued scrubs while at work Parking: Free
