Job Summary (List Format):

- Provide professional clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Care for patients in medical-surgical, post-operative, or stepdown units with patient ratios up to 5-7:1.
- Float within the same discipline across local hospital campuses as needed.
- Use EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation.
- Attend a 16-hour new employee orientation (NBO).
- Work schedules may include overtime (OT) and holidays, with applicable OT multipliers and on-call/charge/precept pay.
- Required to complete at least 1 year of experience in Med Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown units.
- Must hold active state licenses for Illinois and Iowa, or proof of application for Iowa license/compact.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Previous travel contract experience preferred.
- Must not have been employed by UnityPoint in the last 12 months.
- Provide a professional profile including driver’s license, work history/resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, certifications, and at least 1 supervisory reference.
- Must live more than 50 miles from facility (exceptions apply for Madison with 10% pay reduction for locals).
- May be assigned to facilities with varying trauma levels (Level 1-4).
- Billable overtime after 40 or 48 hours/week depending on contracted hours.
- Must comply with orientation schedules provided by the facility.
