Job Description
The Perioperative Circulator RN plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. This role requires clinical knowledge, judgment, and reasoning to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients in the perioperative environment. Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room
- Ongoing evaluation and documentation of all care components using the nursing process
- Individualizing patient care based on health status, age, and type of surgery/procedure
Work Schedule
- Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Hours: 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Total hours per week: 40
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
