CT Technologist I
Location
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Thursday/Friday/Saturday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- On call 1x per month
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty, or a JRCERT-accredited educational program with emphasis in radiologic technology
- Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for CT Certification (ARRT) and achieve it within 12 months of hire
- AHA BLS
- Based on the assignment, knowledge of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics
- Ability to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and report to work consistently and dependably
- Ability to communicate professionally with staff, patients, and families
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, maintain attention to detail, and handle confidential information appropriately
Role Overview
- Entry-level CT technologist role under immediate to general supervision and mentorship
- Supports diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures for adult and pediatric patients
- Prepares patients, performs imaging procedures, completes post-procedure review, and transfers images/data for physician reporting
- Performs quality control, cleaning, high-level disinfection, and routine equipment maintenance
- Works in acute inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic/urgent care, and remote statewide outreach clinic settings
