Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment)
Pay Range: $44.00 - $55.50 hourly (Pay based on experience)
Schedule: 35-40 Hours per week (Full Time or Part Time Available)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (or as specified)
Candidate Type: Local

Requirements:

• Qualified applicants MUST have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Qualified applicants MUST be willing to obtain state licensure in Florida.
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience working with school-age children.
• Qualified applicants MUST have experience providing assessment and treatment for communication disorders.
• Valid profession license (CCC-SLP or CFs welcome)
• Be willing to obtain state licensure in Florida

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration in school settings
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a school setting, you will provide essential support and specialized care to students.

• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement tailored communication intervention plans (SLP).
• Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based treatment for students with diverse communication disorders, including speech, language, and fluency issues (SLP).
• Document progress and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal student development (SLP, CDDS).
