Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling based on departmental needs with flexibility to work all sections of the Emergency Department

• 101-bed Emergency Department at a Level 2 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
• High-volume facility with over 100,000 annual visits serving a diverse, multi-cultural community
• Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical cases; up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds
• Cerner documentation system with modern GE monitors and Baxter pumps
• Supportive team environment with techs, unit clerks, and experienced staff available days and nights
• No floating outside the Emergency Department; flexibility within ED sections only

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
• Previous experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, or high-volume ED strongly preferred
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Strong teamwork mentality with ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
