Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; no floating

Highlights:

• Level I Emergency Department with 25 procedure rooms plus 8 hallway beds utilized 24/7
• 4:1 patient ratio with specialized annex for psychiatric patients
• Advanced cardiac patient population including dedicated heart institute patients
• Protocol-driven care model allowing RNs to initiate comprehensive workups independently
• High-acuity case mix: trauma, stroke, sepsis, DKA, complex cardiac conditions, and psychiatric emergencies
• Modern equipment including ultrasound IV technology, Lucas Device, and Hotline Rapid Infuser

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for high-acuity patient care
• Proficiency with ultrasound-guided IV insertion, IO placement, and advanced monitoring
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• EKG interpretation skills strongly preferred
