Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Shifts may vary to meet operational needs. Holiday rotation required (at least every other holiday).

Highlights:

• Specialized pediatric critical care unit serving patients up to 25 years of age

• Work with inotropes, EKG interpretation, and complex pediatric cases
• Comprehensive orientation including ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration assessments
• Rotating shift schedule with flexibility to meet unit needs
• Travel nursing assignment at a premier healthcare facility

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in PICU prior to travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience (travel experience acceptable)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with EKG interpretation and inotropes required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One supervisory reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in PICU specialty required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
