Location: New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Work in a 528-bed tertiary care hospital with a specialized complex care unit serving medical, orthopedic overflow, and long-term patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med-Surg, 1:6 on nights
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• 12-hour orientation provided with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more
• Float opportunities within Med-Surg units
• Two pre-approved time-off periods allowed during assignment

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license in hand at time of submission – no exceptions
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience with at least 6 months within the past year
• Previous charge experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; no first-time U.S. assignments accepted
• Epic proficiency required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with 1:6 to 1:7 patient ratios in Med-Surg settings
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
• Proficiency in blood product administration, central line management, telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, tracheostomy care, wound care, and use of rapid response teams
