Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; rotating day and night shifts available
Highlights:
- High-volume Emergency Department with 25 procedure rooms plus additional hallway beds utilized 24/7
- Advanced cardiac care environment serving complex heart institute patients alongside general emergency cases
- 4:1 patient ratio with flexibility during acute surge situations
- Protocol-driven nursing model allowing RNs to order labs, imaging, EKGs, and medications based on chief complaint
- State-of-the-art equipment including ultrasound-guided IV insertion, Lucas Device, and Hotline Rapid Infuser
- EMR: Sunrise/Allscripts system
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Active RN license in good standing
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary team members
- Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and punctuality
- EKG interpretation skills preferred
