Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends (every other weekend required)

Highlights:

• High-acuity Emergency Department with 25 procedure rooms plus 8 hallway beds operating 24/7
• Diverse patient population including cardiac institute patients, trauma, stroke, DKA, sepsis, and multi-system comorbidities
• 4:1 patient ratio with flexibility during surge periods; collaborative team of RNs, ED Techs, and support staff
• Utilize protocol-driven care with RN autonomy to order labs, imaging, EKGs, and medications based on chief complaint
• Advanced equipment including ultrasound-guided IV placement, Lucas Device, rapid infuser, and Alaris pumps
• EMR: Sunrise/Allscripts system

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience required
• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills with ability to manage complex, multi-system patients
• Excellent communication skills and proven adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Dependability and punctuality are essential
• EKG interpretation skills preferred
