Description
Start Date: April 20, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time travel assignment; weekdays with call requirements (5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks); floating within facility as needed
Highlights:
- Specialized Cardiac Cath Lab role covering diagnostic and interventional procedures, including EP Lab, PCI, PTCA, and cardiac implant procedures
- Epic charting system; experience with electronic health records required
- Community hospital setting preferred; assignment length varies with non-billable orientation hours based on contract duration
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off available during assignment
- Holiday coverage required per facility policy; local candidates accepted at same rate
- Clinical screening process ensures appropriate skill match and team fit
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience required; previous travel experience required (no first-time travelers accepted)
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS
- Demonstrated competency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and cardiac implant closure devices
- Proficiency in EP Lab procedures, scrubbing, circulating, sterile technique, and equipment setup
- Strong knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission
- Full compliance documentation required by Tuesday prior to start date to avoid orientation delays
