Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule: Day or night shift available, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, no on-call

Highlights:

• 20-bed Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit with specialized critical care patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3, providing meaningful direct patient care
• Advanced equipment including Camino ICP monitoring, CRRT, EVDs, wound vacs, arterial and central lines
• Cerner EMR system for streamlined documentation
• Collaborative nursing team with clinical nurse coordinator support on every shift
• Opportunity to participate in complex procedures including central line, chest tube, and arterial line insertions, plus percutaneous tracheostomies

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Trauma Surgical ICU experience is essential
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred
• ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) preferred
• Willingness to float to MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, and progressive care units as needed
