Description
Start Date: February 16, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 1:2 patient ratio, 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
Highlights:
- 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU at a Magnet-designated, ACS Verified Level I Trauma Center
- Advanced critical care environment with EVDs, CRRT, wound vacs, cooling technology, and GE ventilators
- Comprehensive unit support including supervisors, patient care technicians, and unit coordinators on every shift
- EMR: Cerner PowerChart
- Modified self-scheduling with flexible shift options
- Exposure to high-acuity procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, central lines, bronchoscopy, and proning
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year acute care ICU experience required
- Trauma ICU experience strongly preferred (Level I or Level II Trauma Center)
- Surgical ICU background highly desired
- No LTAC experience accepted
