Description
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation. Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC and 10 nurses; night shift staffing includes 1 CNC and 10 nurses. Patient ratios are typically 1:2 to 1:3.
Highlights:
- 20-bed Neuro Trauma ICU with high-acuity patient population
- Work with advanced equipment including Camino ICP monitors, CRRT, EVDs, wound vacs, and arterial/CVC lines
- Cerner EMR system
- Opportunity to assist with central line, chest tube, arterial line insertions, and percutaneous tracheostomies
- Float to multiple critical care units including MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, and progressive care units
- Collaborative, team-oriented nursing culture
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Trauma and/or surgical ICU background required
- TNCC and ATCN certifications preferred
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
