Description
Start Date: February 9, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day or night shift rotations, 5-6:1 patient ratio, every other weekend required

- 32-bed orthopedic medical-surgical unit within a Magnet-designated, nationally recognized hospital
- Collaborative team environment with RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and unit coordinators on every shift
- Cerner EMR system for streamlined documentation and care coordination
- Comprehensive orthopedic patient population including post-surgical care and advanced wound management
- Float only to other medical-surgical units within the facility
- Access to modern equipment including CPM machines, sky lifts, wound vacs, and bladder scanners
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina RN license (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS certification
- Hospital experience preferred
- Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in dressing changes, foley catheter insertion, NG tube management, and wound vac care
