Description
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; rotating weekends (no call required)
Highlights:
- 13-week contract assignment in a 34-bed acute care medical/surgical unit
- Case management focus including discharge planning, chart review, and patient screening
- Work with Meditech and Midas EMR systems
- Collaborative team environment with dedicated case management staff
- No call required; potential for rotating weekend coverage
- Opportunities for permanent placement available
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital case management experience required
- Strong skills in care coordination and barrier mitigation
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Meditech and Midas preferred)
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
