Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required. No on-call required. Patient ratio typically 1:5–1:6 based on acuity.

Highlights:

• 20-bed inpatient overflow unit with mixed medical-surgical and progressive care patients
• Telemetry monitoring with hardwired bedside equipment for all monitored patients
• Short-stay focus with average 24-hour length of stay and quick patient turnover
• Cerner EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 CNAs for team support
• May float to other units as needed based on facility census

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or eligibility for compact licensure)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Telemetry competency is mandatory
• Progressive care nursing experience required
• Recent progressive care experience strongly preferred
