Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling based on departmental needs

• Level 1 Emergency Department with 101 beds and over 100,000 annual visits
• Patient ratios of 4:1 for medical patients; comprehensive stroke center and trauma designation
• Cerner documentation system; Baxter pumps and GE monitoring equipment
• Float within ED sections only – no external unit floating required

• Serve a diverse, multi-cultural community representing over 120 languages

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
• Level 1 ED Charge Nurse experience required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date
• ENPC certification within 90 days of hire
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, and real-time feedback skills
• Flexibility to work across all ED sections
