Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day or Night shift available; 12-hour shifts; Every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 36-bed Neurosciences unit within a leading acute care facility
• Patient ratios: 5:1 to 6:1 day shift; 6:1 to 7:1 night shift
• Cerner EMR system in use
• Comprehensive orientation with reference materials provided at start
• Collaborative team environment with charge nurse, RN, CNA, and unit coordinator support
• Standard medical-surgical equipment and procedures including IV starts and Foley insertions

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or compact state)
• Current ACLS certification (required)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)
• Neurosciences or neurology nursing experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to float to other medical-surgical units as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
