Description
Start Date: February 19, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift: 1:5-6 patient ratio with charge nurse, RN team, CNAs, and unit support staff. Night shift: 1:6-7 patient ratio with charge nurse, RN team, CNAs, and unit support staff. Six weekend shifts per 6-week schedule required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts on nights).

- 36-bed medical telemetry unit in a nationally recognized, 815-bed flagship hospital
- Work with advanced technology including medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner EMR, and modern workstations on wheels with tap-and-go access
- Prepare patients for procedures including endoscopy, interventional radiology, and surgical interventions
- Magnet-designated facility recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals and awarded an 'A' Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade
- Float to sister medical-surgical units within the facility
- Professional dress code: navy blue or white scrubs
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina RN license
- BLS certification (required)
- Medical telemetry experience (required)
- CMSRN certification (encouraged)
- BSN degree (preferred)
- Leadership or charge nurse experience (preferred)
