Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, no call

Highlights:

• 20-bed progressive care overflow unit with mixed medical-surgical and step-down patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 depending on acuity level
• Short-stay focused unit with quick patient turnover and 24-hour length of stay targets
• Telemetry monitoring with hardwired bedside equipment for all indicated patients
• Cerner EMR system; Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 CNAs
• Part of a Magnet-designated, top 1% nationally recognized healthcare system

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN license or ability to obtain
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Telemetry competency required
• Progressive care experience required
• Recent progressive care experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
