Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation. Day shift grid includes charge nurse support, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, and 1 HUC. Night shift maintains similar staffing structure. Patient ratios of 4:1 at grid, 5:1 when stretched.

• Comprehensive procedures including chest tube management, PCA pumps, IV infusions, and blood transfusions

• May float to stepdown or medical-surgical units as needed

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state eligibility
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Progressive care or critical care experience with neuro and trauma patient populations strongly preferred
• Experience with neurological and spinal assessments, c-collar placement, TLSO braces, lumbar drains, and feeding tube placement
• Proficiency with IV pumps, PCA pumps, chest tubes, patient lifts, and Cerner EMR
