Description
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts per week; shift times vary based on departmental needs
Highlights:
- Advanced cardiovascular perfusion program supporting adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- High-acuity cases including emergency ECMO cannulation, complex cardiac surgery, and ECMO transport
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience with exposure to CVOR, Pediatric CVOR, and emergent cardiac cases
- Epic EMR charting system; scrubs provided by the facility
- Opportunity to work with state-of-the-art perfusion technology including Spectrum Pump, Terumo System 1, and CardioHelp
- Travel assignment for experienced perfusionists with previous contract experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of clinical perfusion experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP)
- At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience
- Previous travel assignment experience required; no first-time travelers
- ECMO transport experience is mandatory
- Proven competency in CVOR, General OR, Pediatric CVOR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma Level 1 settings
- Demonstrated expertise with Spectrum Pump (required), Terumo System 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, and CardioQuip HC
- Ability to independently perform ECMO cannulation across all age groups (adult, pediatric, neonatal)
- Comfort working in fast-paced, emergent cardiac environments
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
