Location: Davie, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 06:45–17:15, with liver transplant call coverage; may assist with other cases when no transplant cases are scheduled; 36-40 guaranteed hours per week

Highlights:

• Work in a 230-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with a high-volume transplant program (55–60 daily census)
• Gain exposure to complex multi-organ transplant cases including liver, heart, lung, and kidney procedures
• 18 operating rooms using EPIC charting system
• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 weekend shifts per month
• 40 hours of orientation provided; first-time travelers accepted
• Participate in teaching and training with students and new staff members

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of direct transplant OR experience required (18 months minimum, 2 years preferred)
• Strong experience in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant procedures – must include implantation experience, not just organ procurement
• Proficiency with MISONIX/CUSA technology is required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications (must have at time of application)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start date)
• Active Florida RN license or willingness to obtain (pending license accepted)
• Nicotine-free status – negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Willingness to float within scope and complete non-billable modules (6–15 hours)
• Two professional references from direct supervisors or managers
