Job Opportunity – Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray/CT Dual Role) – New York

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Massena, New York

Schedule: Weekend coverage supporting Emergency Department, inpatient, and select outpatient imaging needs. This is a dual-role position performing both X-Ray and CT procedures.

Highlights:

• Combined X-Ray and CT position with diverse case mix including routine imaging and advanced CT procedures
• Primary patient population from ED and inpatient units, with occasional outpatient exams
• Work with a range of procedures: chest, abdomen, extremity X-rays, plus CT exams including routine head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and vascular CTAs
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital setting serving all age groups from infants to geriatrics
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (must be in hand to submit)
• ARRT (R) registration required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification current
• IV certification on NY license required
• ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience
• Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, and Emergency Department settings required
• Portable X-ray experience required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Proficiency in all standard X-ray procedures: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
• CT experience with contrast administration, vascular CTA, and PACS systems
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
