Start Date: March 30, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (day or night); every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per pay period

• 34-bed adult medical-surgical unit with supportive team structure including dedicated charge nurse, nursing staff, CNAs, and unit coordinator
• Patient ratios: 1:4–6 (day shift), 1:5–7 (night shift)
• Cerner EMR system; telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Work at a nationally recognized hospital ranked among America's 50 Best Hospitals and awarded Leapfrog 'A' safety grade and Magnet Designation
• Opportunity to provide care at a regional referral center with Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke center, and advanced specialty services
• Occasional float to other medical-surgical units or emergency department holding area

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina
• BLS certification (required)
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation skills
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and assessment skills with ability to recognize changes in patient acuity
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with IV therapy, tube feedings, PEG feedings, and IV antibiotic administration
