Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – New York

Start Date: May 19, 2026

Location: Rochester, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract with every other weekend requirement

Requirements:

• Active New York Single State RN license in hand (NY is not a Compact state; pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• Recent acute care experience within the past 6 months required
• EPIC charting system experience is mandatory
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response
• Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management
• Knowledge of oxygen administration, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Willingness to float within skillset as needed
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
